Overview
Conduct specialist assessments independently for patients with complex neurological conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals. Design and implement 24-hour postural management programs, including specialist seating, positioning, and splinting. Assess and manage increased muscle tone and spasticity. Supervise and support therapy assistants and student physiotherapists. Contribute to the education of relatives, carers, and MDT colleagues. Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing feedback and collaborative input. Produce detailed review reports for patients, families, and commissioners. Promote effective collaboration and communication within the MDT. Ensure safeguarding and uphold individuals' human rights.
Qualifications
HCPC registration. Post-qualification experience in neurorehabilitation or complex care (including ABI/TBI). Strong clinical reasoning skills and commitment to person-centered practice. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Enthusiasm for skill development, innovation, and service improvement.
