The Opportunity
The Dean and Head of the School of Engineering will provide outstanding academic, strategic, and operational leadership to advance the School’s performance across student experience, learning and teaching, research excellence, and external engagement. The Person
We are seeking an accomplished academic leader with engineering qualifications and a distinguished record of academic achievement. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic vision, with prior operational management for an organisational unit delivering research and teaching activities, such as a department or school.
You will have a track record of developing partnerships with industry, government and the profession, as well as a commitment to mentoring the next generation of leaders and progressing diversity, equity and inclusion. An inclusive leadership style, sound judgement, and the ability to inspire confidence in others will be central to your success.
