Commercial Strategy & Pricing Consultant

Start date: ASAP
Location: Richmond (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)
Hours per week: 35hrs
Day rate: £575pd Inside IR35

We’re partnering with our client, a leading global events and data business, who are looking for an experienced, commercially aware Consultant to join the business.
They’re looking for a Strategic Pricing Consultant to lead the global pricing and go-to-market strategy for their new Leads Analytics feature – a new tool designed to give exhibitors clear visibility into their event leads and campaign ROI.
This high-impact product. This is a unique opportunity to shape how a premium digital feature is valued, positioned, and monetised worldwide.

Responsibilities:
• Lead pricing strategy: Design and deliver a global willingness-to-pay (WTP) study to assess customer perceptions of value.
• Develop pricing models: Craft pricing recommendations that reflect the product’s strategic value, exceed standard YoY increases, and align with regional frameworks.
• Drive cross-functional alignment: Collaborate with regional teams to tailor pricing to local markets while maintaining a consistent global strategy.
• Support commercial rollout: Help shape go-to-market messaging, sales enablement materials, and internal training to ensure a successful launch.
• Work in sync with product: Partner with product teams to align pricing milestones with feature readiness and release plans.

Skills and Experience:
• Proven pricing expertise: Experience conducting WTP research and building data-backed pricing strategies for digital products, SaaS, or B2B data services.
• Strong communicator: Skilled at influencing cross-functional and regional stakeholders, with the gravitas to drive alignment and challenge the status quo.
• Independent and adaptable: Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, project-driven environment.
• Background in digital product or SaaS pricing, but not essential.
