Job Title: Registered Home Manager
Location: Colchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Predominantly Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to oversee a care facility specializing in elderly dementia and palliative care in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
- Lead and manage a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of residents with dementia and those requiring palliative care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize care delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Manager with relevant healthcare qualifications.
- Extensive experience in elderly dementia and palliative care.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
