Job Title: Specialist SEN Classroom Support Assistant Location: Reigate, Surrey Start Date: After Easter The Opportunity: We are working with a number of specialist schools in the Reigate area that are looking to appoint full-time SEN Classroom Support Assistants. These roles are suited to individuals who are hands-on, adaptable, and motivated to support pupils with a variety of additional needs in a structured and rewarding school environment. Hours of Work: Full-time (40 hours per week) 8:15am start each day Finish times: Mon/Wed/Thurs: 4:45pm Tuesday: 5:00pm Friday: 4:00pm What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting students with diverse SEN needs including learning, behavioural, and communication difficulties Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning plans Helping students stay focused, engaged, and on task throughout the school day Supporting emotional regulation and social development Working collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists where required What You’ll Need: Prior experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting A calm, resilient, and flexible approach Confidence in managing challenging behaviour positively Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with pupils A genuine commitment to helping young people achieve their potential Ideal Candidate Profile: This role would suit someone who enjoys being active in the classroom, takes initiative, and can quickly build connections with students.
