The Role
The position of Group Head of Finance will report to and support the European Finance Director. The role will have strong variation between people leadership, group finance & compliance, and operational finance to influence strategy, direction and decision making. The key components will include:
People Leadership
* Hiring, training and developing of a finance team including Accountants, Part Qualified & Transactional Finance – AP, AR, Credit Control & Payroll
Group Finance & Compliance
* Ownership of financial reporting, financial accounting, compliance, governance & risk
* Involvement in high profile process & continuous improvement projects
* Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
* VAT & Taxation returns
Operational Finance
* Influencing strategy, direction and decision making
* Finalisation and presentation of monthly reporting packs
* Business partnering with senior and non-financial stakeholders including Departmental Heads
* Budgeting, forecasting & cashflow analysis
