Role Description
This part-time voluntary role as Club Secretary at Birmingham Hockey Club 1932 is a hybrid position based in Birmingham, with some responsibilities that can be completed remotely. The Club Secretary will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, documenting and distributing meeting minutes, maintaining essential club records, coordinating between club members and external organizations, and assisting with member communications. The role is vital for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the club and supporting its administrative and operational needs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Clerical Skills and Executive Administrative Assistance
Excellent Communication and Customer Service capabilities
Experience in Company Secretarial Work and document management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Familiarity with sports or social clubs is a plus
Appropriate IT skills, including knowledge of commonly used word processing and spreadsheet software
