Role Details
Position: Rigger for AWE Burghfield (Reading)
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: 10-day rotation (Tuesday to Thursday), 4 days off (Friday to Monday), 11.5 hours Monday to Thursday, 10 hours Friday to Sunday
Benefits include attendance bonus, taxable rail and travel time paid bi-weekly, and taxable lodge allowance.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Ensure all rigging requirements comply with LOLER and company/client procedures and standards.
* Interpret and execute approved lifting plans and risk assessments.
* Select, deploy, and operate rigging and lifting equipment safely.
* Perform pre- and post-use inspections of lifting equipment and accessories.
* Undertake load-moving operations using fixed and portable lifting equipment.
* Develop lifting plans and risk assessments as needed.
* Conduct Toolbox Talks and serve as Performing Authority.
* Act as Lifting Operations Leader when required.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 Moving Loads or equivalent (Essential)
* CSCS Card (Essential)
* Ability to obtain or hold current Security Clearance
