Job role: Electrical Generator Engineer
Up To £70,000 + Overtime + Bonus Scheme - Company Van + Paid Travel
Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS
Responsibilities
* Performed maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment across all operational plant and machinery.
* Maintained, calibrated, and repaired control, instrumentation, monitoring, and automation systems.
* Delivered minor project work, including the design and implementation of new infrastructure and system improvements.
* Acted as an Authorised Person for high-voltage (HV) switching operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
* Provided technical guidance and training to team members and the wider business to support safe and efficient operations.
* Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support on electrical systems within generators and CHP units.
* Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical equipment, and control systems.
* Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems.
* Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites.
* Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team.
