This post is fixed term until March 2028.

Applications are invited for a Senior Animal Technician to join our modern facility in South Cambridge. As part of a dedicated and friendly core facility team, you will play a key role in supporting metabolic phenotyping studies for research groups within the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science-Metabolic Research Laboratories (IMS MRL) and the MRC Metabolic Diseases Unit (MRC MDU).

Your responsibilities will include carrying out regulated and non regulated procedures to support metabolic research projects, maintaining high standards of animal care, managing consumables and equipment, and keeping accurate records in line with Home Office legislation and University health and safety policies.
