The Lodge is a charming detached home in Langport, South Somerset, set beside Immacolata House and surrounded by the Somerset Levels countryside. The service provides dedicated support for individuals with learning disabilities in a calm, community focused environment. Support Worker Contract £12.71 per hour Zero hours contract Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality, person centred support within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. You will support residents with daily routines, including personal care, mobility and mealtimes, helping to maintain independence while ensuring safety, comfort and dignity at all times. You will respond sensitively to changing needs, contributing to a calm, stable and supportive environment. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans, support structured routines and help maintain a consistent and well organised setting. You will build positive relationships with residents, contributing to a safe and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and confidence. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care who are willing to learn and develop within a specialist setting.
