Salary £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
A young and thriving civil engineering business with a growing commercial team needs an assistant quantity surveyor to join their team and develop their skills through hard work, collaborative working and taking ownership of projects and project elements. This assistant quantity surveyor's role will be a mixture of site and office work working on multimillion pound projects for big name clients on high profile schemes.
Assistant Quantity Surveying Role
* Play a vital role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Site Measurement, valuations, variations.
* Cost Value Reconciliations.
* Cost Reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities
1. Preparing and submitting applications for payment to clients.
2. Pricing variations and maintaining accurate cost tracking.
3. Issuing notifications to clients in line with contractual obligations.
4. Coordinating the issuing and management of construction drawings.
5. Supporting the preparation and finalization of valuations and accounts.
6. Monitoring project budgets and conducting detailed cost analysis.
7. Assisting with the procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
Qualifications
* Have a Quantity Surveying degree or be working towards it.
* HNC or HND in Construction or Civil Engineering.
* Ideally an understanding of the basics of civil engineering.
