Role Description
We are looking for a dedicated Sales and Marketing professional to join our team at Aviagen Turkeys Ltd. This role focuses on the sale of parent breeding day‑old stock across a broad region, including Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Turkey, and the Middle East with a key focus on building and growing the distribution area of our business.
You will work directly with our customers and distributors to maintain and grow sales. This is a team‑based role, working closely with our R&D Director and Technical Service team to align our sales and technical policies across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Relations: Conduct regular visits to develop and maintain strong ties with our clients
* Strategic Planning: Construct sales forecasts and budgets, perform strategic planning, and assess marketing needs
* Problem Solving: Address and resolve sales issues related to Aviagen Turkeys Ltd products
* Travel & Events: Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences, and organise customer seminars. Note: This role requires overseas travel approximately every other week.
Requirements
* Ideally have 3 years of sales/marketing experience in the poultry industry (European Region)
* Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
* Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
* Additional language skills are a definite advantage
