Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will live within a 25 mile radius of SG9, and be hardworking, reliable, and respectful whilst working in our clients properties.
We are looking for someone to grow with us, and require an experienced plumber / heating engineer to assist carrying out various tasks on a day to day basis. Work varies from basic plumbing, to technical heating installations and fault finding.
Ideally the candidate would have their own plain van and tools, and be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
* Conduct regular inspections and servicing of heating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Collaborate with plumbing teams to integrate heating systems within existing infrastructure.
* Perform assembly tasks related to heating system components.
* Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
* Familiarity with basic maths for calculations related to installations and repairs.
* Experience in electrical work & carpentry is advantageous for custom installations.
* A valid commercial driving licence is a plus for transporting equipment to job sites.
