Your Role
At Kuehne+Nagel, we believe in growing and developing our colleagues. Following an internal promotion, we are now looking to recruit a QSHE Advisor to join our compliance team and embark on an exciting journey with us. As a QSHE Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to advise and ensure QSHE compliance within our Government and defence contract based in Telford. This role offers additional exposure to other site locations, including monthly visits to our Bicester site (with potential for increased frequency as needed).
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct QSHE Audits and Inspections to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
* Provide guidance and support to the operation on Quality matters.
* Collaborate with teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
* Ensure all warehouse and compliance activities are conducted in accordance with specific procedures and processes.
* Conduct internal ISO9001:2015 Audits in line with the internal audit schedule.
* Review audit findings to identify trends and determine the need for targeted audits.
* Work with operational teams on performance and compliance standards using all required legislation.
* Monitor audit findings to ensure completion within target dates, including following the audit escalation process.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Understanding of QSHE processes, requirements, and formats, and compliance with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 – Desirable.
* Experience as an auditor (preferably a lead auditor) - Desirable.
* Willingness to attend Internal & Lead Auditors Courses – Essential.
* Experience in a quality assurance function - Essential.
* Analytical and report writing skills.
* Ability to interrogate data and compile relevant statistics.
