The HSE manager will lead and take full responsibility for the site. The role reports to a highly experienced manager who has a very open, honest and fair style who believes in setting clear objectives for his team and then leaving them to drive results. They want someone to come in and make HSE fun within the workforce.
There is still lots to challenge the incoming person, they need to update old systems in the coming years and they plan to extend the factory. The business is very profitable already but the company will invest money to bring this site up to a high standard.This role will be a key decision maker in these changes. The business is already on a good improvement journey and the incoming ops manager must be able to take employees on the journey with them and effectively manage change.
