A permanent vacancy for a 0.4WTE B7 CBT Therapist or CAAP has arisen in South Glasgow's Primary Care Mental Health Team (PCMHT) (Wellbeing). This service delivers brief psychological therapies to adults presenting with common mental health conditions in South Glasgow. You'll work within a team of highly motivated Clinical Psychologists, CBT Therapists, Mental Health Therapists/Practitioners and admin staff, and provide supervised placements to trainees undertaking a range of post-graduate psychological therapy training programmes. You'll be line managed by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Team Lead and be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist. You'll possess a postgraduate diploma in CBT from a BABCP accredited course or the MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care which renders you eligible to work as a CAAP in NHS Scotland. You'll have experience in delivering psychological therapies in adult mental health gained via training and, ideally, post-qualification. Newly qualified candidates, or those approaching completion of their training as outlined above, are welcome to apply. To support service provision, the post holder will be prepared to work on Fridays.
