Location: Bradford. Chatham, Petersfield

The Role:
You and Your Team:
In this role, you will be part of the Payment Services team who are responsible for payment channels and regulatory compliance within the VBG payment ecosystem.
You will be responsible for undertaking payment transaction banking data analysis using SQL (or snowflake) technologies (Power BI, Excel etc) to create MI Dashboards for stakeholder, forums. You will monitor Payment ecosystem controls to oversee processing of transactions and payments for Credit card and Vehicle Finance products.
As a Payments Analyst, some of the key responsibilities are:
* Payments MI Dashboards: Setup and maintain regular Payment monitoring dashboards for Payments forum, working group ceremonies.
* Processing Payments control monitoring: Create dashboards, MI to ensure payment transactions are being applied in a timely and accurate manner.
* To interpret business requirements and determine optimum MI solutions to meet business needs.
* Investigating and Supporting Risk Events: Support Payment risk events to resolve payment incidents and irregularities by collaborating with internal teams including investigation of customer complaints and reported issues/errors.
* Creating and ongoing maintenance of Payment process documentation.
* Support with Payment service compliance and TRA Rate monitoring, analysis and Rep17 quarterly runs to ensure adherence to compliance.
* Support Finance, product and digital stakeholders on payment data requirements, queries.
* Ensure a current understanding and relevant level of knowledge of payments is in place across the business and Group.
What We’re Looking For:
* Understanding of data analysis incl. SQL coding, Excel and Power BI skills
* Able to work independently and objectively and as part of a team
* Previous experience within Payment Services within Financial Services is desirable
* Effectively plan and organise work, prioritising deadlines whilst working at a fast pace
* Ability to work and keep deadlines in an evolving work environment, including working to strict SLAs
