About the Role
EKC Broadstairs College seeks two Maths Lecturers to inspire learners, unlock potential, and help students develop the skills they need to succeed. As a Lecturer of Maths you will plan, deliver and assess lessons across a variety of environments, supporting learners to achieve their maximum potential and guiding them through every stage of their study programmes.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for Level 1 and 2 GCSE and Functional Skills programmes.
* Support learners to achieve confidence and competence in mathematics.
* Evaluate outcomes and provide targeted support and interventions where necessary.
* Lead designated study programmes and courses, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience.
* Participate in the Teacher Academy to develop teaching skills, including digital skills support.
Qualifications & Experience
You will be a highly organised and creative educator who can deliver engaging, innovative lessons. You should have strong interpersonal skills, a positive and empathetic approach, and confidence in classroom management. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching or delivering training, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. The role requires ability to teach across Level 1 and 2 GCSE and Functional Skills programmes.
