Overview
West of England Music and Arts delivers Music and Cultural Education Hub and Creative Health services in the Bath and Bristol region and beyond. This dual-focus role is key to ensuring the long-term success of the organisation through efficiency, lean operations and financial sustainability.
Role
The postholder will lead on fundraising, working with the CEO and freelance fundraisers to strengthen the fundraising strategy, ensure a continuous flow of income from a range of sources (grants, sponsorships, legacies etc) and seek new growth opportunities for the Charity. The Chief Operating Officer will also lead on the efficient and effective management of the operations team, compliance and innovation. The postholder will lead on development and problem solving across finance, HR, systems, IT etc, working with specialist in-house and out-sourced professionals to ensure the lean, focussed operations across all areas of the Charity and its trading subsidiary.
