Are you passionate about working with people and being part of their journey to find employment? If yes, then this could be the ideal role for you as we’re recruiting an Employment Specialist to join our team!
The role of the Employment Specialist is to achieve delivery targets by working with participants to identify employment opportunities and support them into sustainable employment. The participants you’ll work with will mainly require health support needs. You’ll deliver our Working Well Norfolk approach providing person-centred advice and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with referral partners and relevant local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience of employer needs and employer engagement and experience of working in a target driven environment. We are open to various backgrounds and experiences as we provide superb on-the-job training. We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box, just someone with an engaging personality, comfortable working with diverse groups, and capable of providing a warm, welcoming experience to help our participants take their first steps back into employment.

We deliver a range of Employability & Health contracts supporting people back to work. This role is part of our Working Well Norfolk scheme.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients with health support needs motivated to work.
* Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach, with training provided.
* Support clients to identify skills, goals, and produce an Action Plan for employment, including CV, job search, and interview support.
* Assess support needs related to work, including benefits advice and health disclosures, providing guidance accordingly.
* Attend multidisciplinary team meetings with key partners as an IPS practitioner.
* Possess GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above, or equivalent experience.
* Be fully IT literate with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Skype.
* Have knowledge or experience of employer needs and engagement.
* Experience working in a target-driven environment and delivering quality services.
* Knowledge of the employability industry.
* Training and experience in IPS approach.
* Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector and QCF Level 3 in Advice & Guidance.
* Knowledge of the recruitment industry.
* Experience providing information, advice, and guidance.
* Hold a full driving license for deployment across the geographical area, if required.
