Experience of working with people with a neurological condition is essential as is the ability to work flexibly and proactively to deliver a prompt and clinically effective service. The post holder will hold their own community caseload and support the occupational therapists to deliver a service across Gwent. Main duties of the job The post offers opportunity to deliver a variety of assessments and interventions with clients in their own homes as well as in clinic settings. The post offers opportunities to manage a caseload, develop knowledge, skills and experience in condition management, as well as gaining some more specialist knowledge in posture and seating. We need an effective communicator who can work flexibly and proactively to deliver a prompt and clinically effective service. You should be a creative problem solver, and demonstrate a willingness to develop and pilot new ideas. You will possess excellent organisational skills related to yourself and supporting the workload management of the team. We provide all of our staff with the opportunity to work in an occupational therapy service that is developing to meet the needs of the people that we serve and provide innovative and effective ways of delivering occupational therapy intervention.
