Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the school's team on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs, contributing to their academic and personal development. Training sessions are held on Fridays, and the school is committed to investing in your professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
2. Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
3. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
4. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and included.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
6. Attend training sessions on Fridays to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.
Requirements:
* Well-presented, flexible, and reliable individual with a desire to support students with SEN.
* Ambitious and motivated with a willingness to learn and succeed in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Commitment to work all five days.

Pay rates quoted are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanence later.
