We're working on behalf of a leading consultancy who is seeking an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving team and lead a diverse portfolio of high-value developments. Our client, a forward-thinking property and construction consultancy delivering exceptional cost and project management services across a variety of sectors. Their current and recent projects span retail, student accommodation, office fit-outs, hotels, care homes, with values typically ranging between £5–15M, and some schemes reaching up to £80M. You’ll be joining at a time of significant growth, with plenty of opportunity to make your mark and play a strategic role in shaping the future of the team and business. About the Role You’ll oversee the successful delivery of cost management services on new build, refurbishment, and remodelling schemes, while providing strategic leadership and direction to a team of Quantity Surveyors. Key Responsibilities: · Leading and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors · Estimating and cost planning · Offering strategic procurement advice · Managing tender documents, contract administration, and cost control · Conducting interim valuations and preparing detailed cost reports · Advising on contracts, variations, and disputes · Overseeing final accounts and close-out About You You’ll bring a strong background in Quantity Surveying, with experience in care homes, retail, and office fit-outs being particularly relevant. You’ll also need to be confident leading others, managing clients, and delivering projects from concept to completion.
