Our relaunch is scheduled for early July, and were looking for a Head Chef whos ready to make their mark! Role Overview Were searching for a dynamic, creative, and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen through this transformation and beyond.
Youll have the unique opportunity to shape the menu, build your own team, and play a key part in establishing The Anchor Inn as a culinary destination in the area.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all kitchen operations, from opening preparations through to daily service Design, develop, and regularly update menus with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients Recruit, train, and lead the kitchen team Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation Maintain rigorous health, safety, and hygiene standards Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets Work closely with management on promotions, events, and new offerings Help shape the food culture and reputation of The Anchor Inn About You Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen, with responsibility for service execution and food quality.
A passion for modern pub food and creative menu development Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, relaunch environment Excellent attention to detail and high standards Food hygiene certification (Level 3 or above preferred) Flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential.
Youll be expected to adapt to the evolving needs of the kitchen and business, including working evenings, weekends, and busy service periods.
