Bid Coordinator role at Thermatic Group.
We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join our key account teams at Thermatic Technical FM. This role supports the bid function within the business and involves managing multiple bids across various procurement portals. You will act as the main point of contact for bids, download and distribute documents to the bid team, and manage Q&A and document distribution during the SQ/tender period. Attention to detail and task retention are essential.
Responsibilities
* Identify opportunities to enhance and improve the bid process, and share best practices with the team
* Undertake research to improve bid content
* Develop and use creative approaches to writing and presenting bids
* Assist in reviewing bid submissions for quality and accuracy
* Ensure the quality of responses meets company standards
* Maintain a high level of market intelligence, legislative awareness, and best practice to create winning bids
Required Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
* 1-3 years’ experience in a bid team
* FM sector bid experience would be advantageous
* Industry knowledge and familiarity with the sector
* Proven written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong relationship-building skills with a wide range of stakeholders
* High level of interpersonal skills
* Ability to communicate at all levels
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Desktop publishing experience (e.g., Adobe, Canva) desirable but not essential
Hours & Location of Work
Main location — Our head office is based in Salford, Manchester. Opportunities to work remotely are available, but some office presence is required.
Regular hours of work — Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours). Opportunities to work flexibly are available.
