About the role
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for unforgettable events. The Wedding Sales Specialist is part of a small and highly committed team that helps grow wedding sales for the business. From the initial show rounds through to event bookings and ongoing account management, this role is varied and rewarding.
As a leading luxury event venue, our clients expect the very best; our wedding specialists have a deep understanding of customer service excellence and a genuine love of going above and beyond to create a highly personalised experience. You will need to be able to establish immediate rapport and quickly get under the skin of clients’ individual needs. No two events are the same at Hedsor, so having an open mind and an ability to think creatively helps too.
Of course, knowledge and experience of the wedding industry is an asset in this role, but more important is an ability to seamlessly account manage numerous clients, and a real understanding of sales. Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of a couple’s wedding requirements and guide them towards the best choice for their needs.
* Attend Open Houses and the Showcases to look after couples and convert as many bookings as possible (we hold two Open House evenings a month, and three Showcases a year).
* Run virtual or in‑person show rounds as required.
* Support the Sales team with management of the inbox and WhatsApp channels so that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
* Account‑manage the relationships with booked wedding couples through our CRM system, HubSpot, and over the phone, so that their journey towards their wedding is enjoyable and stress‑free.
* Support the Senior Wedding Specialists in managing the various wedding diaries, making sure they are aligned and clashes do not occur.
* Manage all relevant administrative tasks in relation to bookings including ensuring the CRM system, HubSpot, is updated and the couple’s client documents are completed.
* Answer phone enquiries about weddings at Hedsor.
* Have a thorough understanding of Hedsor’s various wedding offerings and work closely with the Operations and Event team to ensure these are communicated to couples and expectations on both sides are clear.
* Monitor the daily sales dashboard to check on progress towards targets.
* Regularly contribute ideas for improvements to products and services so Hedsor remains competitive and leads the industry in best practice.
* Support the team as required.
Training in the specific platforms used at Hedsor will be provided.
Key Skills Required for the Role
* Genuine passion for customer service and a desire to sell Hedsor in a way that inspires our couples and makes their experience memorable.
* A warm and friendly manner which quickly builds rapport with our couples.
* Strong sales skills and driven to achieve targets.
* Incredible attention to detail and accuracy in the recording of all details relating to a booking, including ensuring diary dates are maintained rigorously.
* Experience of working with a wide ranging and diverse group of customers.
* Excellent standard of spelling and grammar with exemplary written communications skills.
* An ability to remain calm under pressure and manage difficult conversations successfully.
* The ability to work collaboratively with a team.
* Punctual and with good time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise.
* Highly reliable.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. HubSpot CRM experience is beneficial, but training will be provided if required.
Qualifications
* Education in sales, hospitality, travel and tourism and/or event management – highly desirable.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent – desirable.
* Maths and English GCSE – essential.
* Sales and customer service training – desirable.
Experience and Knowledge
* An understanding of the wedding industry is highly desirable. Alternatively, experience in event sales or other luxury services or products will be considered.
* Previous experience in a sales role with proven examples of having closed deals.

* High level of personal presentation; this role represents the brand at all times.
* Holds UK Driving Licence. As the Estate is not easily accessible via public transport, use of a car is essential.
