Overview

John Shepherd Sales & Lettings is part of Lomond, the UK's leading network of lettings and estate agencies, with 10 offices and over 100 staff to assist our customers. We help people find, sell, and let their property.

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Operations Assistant. This role is central to the smooth running of our property management and lettings departments. This is a permanent, full-time position and the salary is £24,500.


Responsibilities

* Audit physical and digital files for landlords, tenants, and properties to include regulatory compliance requirements.
* Draft, proofread, and send professional correspondence, including emails and letters.
* Process and manage invoices, payments, and financial records related to properties where required.
* Develop and implement efficient administrative procedures to streamline workflows.
* Provide support to senior management and directors with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
* Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion with all company information.


Qualifications

* Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within the property sector.
* Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems.
* A basic understanding of property management software is a plus.
