Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Faculty, this post holder will be accountable for;
* Strategically lead on improving progress and attainment in maths.
* Be accountable for planning, monitoring, and implementing the maths curriculum in order to inspire, motivate and influence staff and students.
* Ensure whole school teaching and learning priorities are embedded within maths
* Effectively mentor and appraise those colleagues for whom you have responsibility within the whole school appraisal policy.
Pay range: MPS/UPS + TLR2C - (£30,000- £46,525 + £7,847)
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
* Passion for creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to the academy’s values and ethos.
