Role: Customer Assistant in Operations
Responsibilities
* Accept deliveries, unpack goods, and prepare crates to ensure the shop floor is always fully stocked.
* Use in-store systems and tools to track deliveries, manage stock, and keep products in the right places.
* Work with colleagues across the store to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment.
* Be flexible and capable of handling a range of operational tasks to support changing store needs.
* Follow safe and legal working practices.
Key Accountabilities
* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points.
* Maintain “best in town” standards through presentation, product availability, and store cleanliness.
* Utilise digital tools and communication channels effectively; share feedback to drive improvements.
* Share knowledge with colleagues to support skill building and confidence.
* Learn and develop using digital learning solutions; know daily sales targets, priorities, promotions, and selling opportunities.
* Demonstrate strong product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services.
* Engage with customers to understand needs and make recommendations.
* Understand store priorities and your role in achieving them.
* Complete tasks promptly and in line with SOPs; minimise waste and cost through good practices.
