The Role
* Design, source, and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to enhance manufacturing performance
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in fabrication, painting and assembly processes
* Support existing production processes to meet safety, quality and cost targets
* Use CAD software to produce technical drawings
* Manage and maintain BOMs and process documentation
* Develop route timings and process flow maps to drive efficiency
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing projects
The Person
* Degree in Engineering or 5+ years of industrial experience in production/manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting
* Proficient in problem-solving tools (e.g. Root Cause Analysis) and lean methodologies
* Experience with process mapping, takt time and cycle time analysis
* Skilled in CAD packages and familiar with ERP/MRP systems
