Position

Trainee Phlebotomist – Field Based (Waltham Abbey, Tottenham, Wood Green, Walthamstow, Chingford, Loughton areas).

Salary: £27,783 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits.

Internally, you’ll be known as a Health Assessment Specialist and will join a passionate team delivering high-quality health assessments across your region.


Location Eligibility

We can only consider applicants residing in: Waltham Abbey, Tottenham, Wood Green, Walthamstow, Chingford, Loughton areas.

Responsibilities, hours and day-to-day

* Work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours), shifts between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. Hours allocated 3 weeks in advance.
* Drive up to 2 hours to the venue; public transport may be required depending on venue type.
* Work across multiple clinic venues within the region and maintain high-quality service.
* Plan routes, travel to venues, greet customers, and conduct health assessments as per packages (e.g., PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, fitness tests).
* Update and maintain administration records.
* Phlebotomy tasks to be performed once qualified; other assessments as per package offerings.


Requirements

* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car to transport kit to venues; ability to store kit at home.
* Willingness to work any days between Monday and Sunday and any times between 6am and 10pm on a rota basis (shifts of 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, or 1pm–10pm).
* Proficiency with computers/laptop/phone/tablet.
* Clear DBS (processed on behalf of the candidate).
* Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home location; occasional overnight stays may be required.
* Live within the specified regional location.
* Attend Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Mon-Fri).
* Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
* Enhanced criminal records check (required as part of onboarding and covered by Bluecrest).
* All roles require a satisfactory criminal record check as part of onboarding.
