Overview
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £29,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
Responsibilities
* Deliver training on the automotive Apprenticeship Standard, including skills, knowledge, and behavioural components.
* Coordinate off-the-job and on-the-job training with colleagues and managers.
* Develop and update training materials and courses.
* Ensure efficient use of resources with a focus on environmental sustainability.
* Conduct timely assessments of apprentices' practical and theoretical work.
* Provide constructive feedback to apprentices, helping them to improve.
* Collaborate with the Learner Support Department to integrate maths and English into technical training.
* Mentor apprentices, supporting their personal development and helping them reach their potential.
* Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with apprenticeship programme requirements.
Requirements
* Appropriate level of occupational competence.
* Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
* Full UK Driving License.
* First Aid at Work Qualification (or willingness to obtain).
* Satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
