Job Description Audit & Accounts Senior – Leading Accountancy Firm – Manchester Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We have partnered with a leading accountancy firm in Manchester City Centre who are expanding their Audit & Accounts team and is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is working towards their ACA or ACCA qualification and looking to take the next step in their career. The Role As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services to a diverse client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing statutory accounts for limited company clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance Planning, co-ordinating, and completing audit assignments and accounts work Liaising with clients before and during assignments to ensure all necessary information is obtained Ensuring full completion of audit or accounts files for Manager review within agreed timescales and budgets Completing sections of audit files, including entire audit files for subsidiaries in multi-entity group audits Providing general administrative support to the Audit & Assurance department The Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice A strong understanding of audit procedures, financial reporting, and statutory accounts preparation The ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Excellent communication and organisational skills ACA or ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified What’s on Offer?
