WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

We are looking for someone to fill an Administrative & Sales Support role, who thrives in a fast-paced agribusiness environment and is eager to go above and beyond, to help our customers reach their goals by demonstrating expert knowledge of our products and services.

In this role you will:

* Be the contact person and support for all sales processes, including sales orders, field plans, delivery & blend tickets in our ag-retail software, Agvance.
* Develop an understanding of all applications within Agvance Sky and work with the team to achieve exceptional utilization.
* Oversee the branch’s 4R Retailer Certification, ensuring 4R standard compliance is met.
* Maintain grower, farm, field, boundary structure in precision ag platforms and displays in the custom application equipment.
* Work with the Precision Agronomy team, collecting as-applied data and satellite imagery, and communicating it to the grower customers.
* Conduct business with grower customers via phone and counter sales, and take/create product and service orders in Agvance.
* Organize soil sampling requests and results, and track when fields are due to be re-sampled.
* Utilize the myFS platform to enhance the producer experience with Precision Ag and overall business.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

* Completion of college or other courses in agriculture.
* Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
* Working knowledge of general office procedures and computer software, with the ability to learn new applications.
* 2 years in a customer-facing role.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* A knack for relationship building and problem-solving.
* Ability to work alone or with a team.
* Desire to grow with the company. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn the Ag Retail business and grow in their career.
* Willingness to work extra hours in the spring and fall planting seasons.
