Business Support Supervisor

West Yorkshire Police are seeking 4 x Business Support Supervisors to join our Estates and Business Services Directorate.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a role working in a busy, enjoyable and dynamic environment. You will have responsibility for leading the Business Support Team in the day-to-day delivery of a professional customer service/administrative provision, and supporting multiple unique business areas based across our Estate in West Yorkshire.
The role requires a motivated self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise competing demands, problem solve and foster improvement and efficiency. Whilst no previous management experience is required, you will have the ability to supervise a team and proven experience of leading by example in a customer services or administrative environment. You will possess good organisational skills to enable you to lead the Business Support Teams in managing a varied workload, meeting deadlines and providing a comprehensive administrative support service across multiple sites. With good IT literacy, Health and Safety knowledge and well-developed communication skills you will provide a high level of service to customers at all levels, including Senior Leadership Teams, and manage a high performing team of geographically dispersed staff, demonstrating effective resource management to ensure competing demands are met in a fast-paced environment.
