Job Description
Responsibilities
* Design implement and manage Exadata Cloud Service ExaCS database solutions
* Develop and maintain database architecture strategies to support business goals
* Lead the migration and integration of databases across multi cloud database environments including Oracle Cloud AWS Azure and Google Cloud
* Ensure high availability scalability and performance of database systems
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
Requirements:
o Handson experience with migrating large databases to Exadata ExaCS ExaCC platform.
o Experience with migrating database to ATPADW
o Design Database consolidation and reduce OPEX spending
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators
o Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and security assessments
o Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and cloud offerings
o Implement and manage Exadata X9 hardware including persistent memory PMem and RDMA algorithms to optimize performance and reduce latency
o Deploy and manage Exadata X1110M98 hardware leveraging its scaleout highperformance database servers and intelligent storage servers
o Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC RAT testing ASM Exadata Performance tuning Data Guard Physical and Logical DG Broker
o Experience in database security TDE Audit Vault OKV etc
o Experience in OS administration Linux Solaris virtualization storage ZFS ZDLRA
