This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £28,193 - £32,104 per annum (up to £36,791 for exceptional candidates).

The role
This is an exciting time to join our finance team at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. We are looking to build a world-class finance team to support all our services and strengthening the finance team to meet future demands is a priority.
The Systems and Control Officer will be responsible for supporting the Systems and Control Accountant in maintaining, and optimising the council’s finance, procurement and income systems, primarily Unit4 Agresso. This role ensures smooth system operations, maintains financial controls, and supports users.
The post is part of the Systems and Control function within the Financial Reporting team but supports the wider finance team and all users of the financial systems.
Some Of The Main Duties Of The Role Are
* General maintenance and support of the systems, including user, supplier and customer set up.
* Creation and maintenance of master data including chart of accounts, costs centres, hierarchies, reporting and checking migrated data.
* Daily, weekly, monthly annual processes.
* Producing standard reports and assist in developing bespoke reports.
* Control and reconcile month end data from interfaces.
* Deliver routine user training.
Working is hybrid, but a presence in the office on average of one day a week is desirable as building a collaborative, motivated team will be critical to success.
The role is full time but we are open to discussions with suitable applicants who wish to work part-time, term-time or job share.
