Group HR Business Partner – Pinsent Masons

Job Overview
We are looking for a Group HR Business Partner to support our organization’s strategic HR initiatives across the firm.
Responsibilities
* Understand the objectives and overall strategy of the group and deliver HR support aligned with business goals.
* Act as the lead HR contact for team restructure and consultation programmes.
* Attend leadership team meetings for allocated teams, lead on appropriate agenda items.
* Support talent processes including performance reviews, career conversations, promotion cycles and the delivery of the group-wide talent management plan.
* Coach and influence managers on people management practices and performance plans.
* Work with central recruitment to ensure end-to-end recruitment activity and provide proactive recruitment support.
* Support the group HRM and central reward team in annual salary review and bonus processes, process approvals for promotions, salary changes and incentives.
* Work with L&D to implement learning programmes and support ad‑hoc training interventions.
* Manage core employee relations cases and support investigations, documentation and escalation.
* Analyse HR metrics, prepare dashboards and report exit interview data.
* Provide commercial & organisational awareness and identify operational improvements.
* Build strong working relationships across the group and support other HRBP roles as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* HR generalist experience in a business partnering or advisory roleli>
* Experience supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle.
* Experience working in professional services or a complex matrix organisation is desirable.
* Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of how HR contributes to business performance.
* Strong technical HR skills and good working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
