Job Description
* Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements specific to the not-for-profit sector.
* Collaborate with internal teams to optimise financial processes and systems.
* Provide strategic financial advice to support organisational decision-making.
* Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial resource allocation.
* Prepare financial reports for trustees and external stakeholders.
* Lead on annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
* Proven experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector or similar.
* Strong knowledge of charity accounting standards and regulations.
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset.
