Key Responsibilities
Support the registered manager and/or supervisor with:
 * Provide individualised support to children, ensuring they feel included and valued within their school environment.
 * Promote positive interactions and foster an inclusive atmosphere during school activities.
 * Assist children during swimming sessions, physiotherapy, and playtime, adapting approaches to meet their needs.
 * Support participation in school activities designed to enhance development and enjoyment.
 * Use effective communication techniques tailored to the individual needs of children, ensuring their preferences are respected.
 * Build and maintain positive relationships with children and school staff.
 * Work alongside teaching staff and healthcare professionals to deliver collaborative support for each child.
 * Maintain accurate records of activities, observations, and any concerns, following organisational policies and procedures.
 * Report any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at the school.
Duties
 * Engage with children to ensure their participation and inclusion in school activities.
 * Support personal care tasks with respect for each child's dignity and comfort.
 * Communicate effectively with children and school staff to foster positive relationships.
 * Collaborate with educational and healthcare staff to provide comprehensive support.

 * Flexibility and Commitment: Be prepared to work flexibly, including adapting to the needs of children and the school environment.
