Job description
As the IT Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of the WRA�s technology landscape, combining a passion for people with a passion for technical problem-solving and innovation. You'll serve as the primary authority for all things IT within the WRA.
From troubleshooting technical issues to optimising network performance, your expertise will underpin all our digital infrastructure. Delving into the dynamic realm of cloud computing, you'll ensure the WRA remains at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.
Your role will extend to multiple IT projects, guiding them towards success. Whether it's implementing new systems or fortifying our existing infrastructure, you'll be integral to every stage of IT operations.

IT operations
1. Troubleshoot access and incident issues
2. Manage digital & technology operational issues
3. Manage risk, quality and compliance management for digital & technology services
4. Support the WRA business areas to resolve issues
5. Act as the first, second and (in some cases) third line support for digital & technology services
6. Act as an escalation point for user representatives
7. Analyse and use customer insight and performance data to improve internal digital & technology services
Infrastructure
8. Articulate user needs in relation to End User Devices, and have a detailed knowledge of the products that can match the needs of users to a range of appropriate devices
9. Responsible for WRA mobile, video conferencing and IP telephony technologies and network infrastructure
10. Management of WRA email and collaboration platform including activities such as provisioning accounts, monitoring security and capacity of systems, and understand the cost implications of using the service
Cyber security
11. Troubleshoot cyber security incidents and appropriate response
12. Support the WRA business areas to resolve issues and needs relating to cyber security
13. Monitoring systems for compromise or misuse
