This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled chef who thrives in a fast paced kitchen environment and is looking for daytime hours and evenings off. Role Details: Location: Preston(pr4) Hours: 8:30 am - 4/4:30 pm, 5 days out of 7, including weekends Start Date: 12th March Requirements: Must have own transport and be available ongoing - reliability is essential Responsibilities: Preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of homemade dishes to a high standard, opportunity to contribute to menu changes anddaily specials Managing your section efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality in all food preparation Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Managing stock levels, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring proper storage procedures Supporting the Head Chef and wider team during busy service times and covering their2 days off Ensuring cleanliness and organisation of your section and the kitchen as a whole Requirements: Previous experience as 2nd chef or in a similar role within a busy café or restaurant Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure A passion for homemade, quality food and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Own transport is essential due to location and working hours If you are a dedicated and reliable relief cheflooking for a new challenge with daytime hours and evenings off, we would love to hear from you.
