About the Role Responsibilities Provide warm, consistent and patient 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with ADHD, helping them feel regulated, supported and confident in the classroom. Use strategies such as task‑chunking, movement breaks, visual prompts and positive reinforcement to help the pupil stay engaged and focused. Work collaboratively with the SENCO, class teacher, parents and any external professionals to ensure consistent, child‑centred support. Encourage positive routines, social development and confidence‑building moments that help the pupil feel valued and successful. Adapt activities, offer reassurance and bring creativity to lessons so the child can participate at their own pace and in their own learning style. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or in a similar support role. Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly ADHD or attention‑related challenges.
