We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School. This is a permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £22,004 and the full time equivalent is £25,583 Grade 3.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school.
* Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks.
* Assist with the organisation, documentation and minute‑taking of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings.
* Contribute to the efficient running of the school office.
* Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils and the wider school community.
Qualifications
* Experience of general clerical, administrative and financial work.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
* Confidence using ICT systems, including Word, Excel and databases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
* Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and financial information.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality and supporting pupil wellbeing.
* Willingness to undertake first aid training.
