A permanent part-time vacancy has arisen within the Community Pharmacy Services team for a 0.6wte at Band 5 as Controlled Drugs Inspection Officer.
This is an interesting and exciting opportunity to use, learn or develop skills in audit and governance, communication, investigation and multi-disciplinary engagement while working with those who prescribe, order and provide controlled drugs within HHSCP. Responsibilities will include community hospitals, GP practices and community pharmacies within the area.
You will join an existing and close working team consisting of two other CD Inspection Officers based across NHS Highland plus the Associate Director of Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy and CD Governance, and the Accountable Officer for the Health Board.
This is a peripatetic post covering South and West Highland with a base at Assynt House or within an hours drive of Inverness with agreement.
