Are you a skilled Service Manager with a background in facilities management, engineering, or maintenance operations? We're looking for an experienced professional to manage critical services and small-scale projects on-site at RAF Waddington.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment supporting essential infrastructure across the MOD estate.
What You’ll Do:

Oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance
*
Manage minor works projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
*
Coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors
*
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and MOD-specific protocols
*
Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
*
Maintain accurate records using CAFM systems
*
Act as Authorised or Responsible Person (training provided if required)
*
Liaise with MOD clients and resolve site issues effectively
*
Support budgeting, risk management, and operational planning
What We’re Looking For:
*
HNC or equivalent in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
*
SMSTS or similar management-level Health & Safety qualification
*
Strong leadership and experience managing supply chain teams
*
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CAFM systems
*
Willingness to be part of an on-call rota and take on site-based responsibilities
