Learning Disabilities Support Workers (Nights)
Cygnet Healthcare is looking for experienced Learning Disabilities Support Workers (nights only) to join our team working at Langdale House.
You’ll be working 42 hours a week (from 08:00pm till 08:00am, including alternative weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Langdale House.
Langdale House is a specialist residential service supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The main house accommodates up to eight residents and offers spacious communal areas, a dedicated activity room and an enclosed outdoor garden within a homely environment.
In the grounds we have two new single occupancy flats in the Coach House. Each flat boasts a double bedroom with fitted furniture, a bathroom / wet room and open plan living and kitchen space.
Main duties of the job
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
* Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
* Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with medical & welfare needs
* Report on medical & welfare needs as required
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
