Project Manager

Location: Falkirk

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Looking for a Project Manager role where you can take full ownership of delivery from start to finish? Join us to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects — ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on role, managing site teams, programmes, and client relationships while driving performance across every stage of the project lifecycle.


What you’ll do

* Manage the full lifecycle of projects from planning through to completion
* Deliver works to agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications
* Develop and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and performance
* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery
* Allocate labour, plant, and materials to maximise productivity
* Conduct site inspections and monitor performance against programme and standards
* Create and manage safe systems of work, including RAMS
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
* Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
* Oversee quality assurance, inspections, audits, and project handovers
* Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery

Requirements

* Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies (e.g. highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks)
* Experience managing budgets and commercial performanceGood knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
* SMSTS (essential)
* Black CSCS Card (essential)


Desirable

* NEBOSH or IOSH
* Temporary Works Coordinator
* Appointed Person (Lifting)
* NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or working towards)
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015)
