US Law Support are pleased to be recruiting for a brand-new Technology Support Analyst to work in the London office of an expanding US law firm.
This is a full-time, permanent position to provide technology customer support and leadership, as well as to assist with strategic projects.
Typical responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring the IT Help Desk ticketing system, to ensure that issues are resolved/escalated promptly.
* Providing desk-side technical support including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Coordinating day-to-day operational IT activities including new hire set up, audio and video conference presentations, and office moves.
* Collaborating with office/IT management on projects such as infrastructure/network upgrades, power outages, office expansions and relocations, and AV implementations.
* Participating pre-pilots and reports findings.
* Remaining well-versed in firm and IT department technology policies.
* Making recommendations to add or change policies or procedures.
* Engaging with vendors.
* Managing local office IT asset inventory and equipment purchase requests for laptops, desktops and peripherals.
* Building effective working relationships and guiding/training junior team members.
* Participating in firm, regional and local projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to joining a thriving international team. A competitive salary of up to circa £60,000 is on offer, plus benefits and the possibility of 1-2 days remote working following the completion of a successful probation period.
Suitable applicants will be degree-educated and have gained 5+ years of relevant IT experience from within a law firm or professional services environment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and managed mobile devices is crucial and experience with macOS is highly desirable.
